New Favourite Sunless Tanner

I'm always on the look out for a new tanning product.  It's just a product that excites me, as lame as that sounds.  I'm naturally quite pale and don't like to use sunbeds or tan in the sun too much as I personally don't think it is good for the skin so I opt for the next best thing which is a sunless tanner.  There are so many on the market these days and a lot of them are super affordable. My old favourite was always St Tropez and whilst I still believe it is a good tanner I recently discovered that the brand tests on animals which doesn't sit well with me, especially since going vegan this year.  Anyway, I was browsing the tanners in Superdrug a few months ago and came across one I hadn't seen before; Sunkissed.   I decided to give Sunkissed a go because it was in a dark formula which I liked, a mousse so super easy to apply and only £3.  I gave it a go later that evening and was so pleasantly surprised!  It's so so good and at such a

A Winter Vegan Recipe

It's not often I share recipes on here but as you probably know I changed my lifestyle to vegan this year and have been obsessed with the Deliciously Ella books which have helped me so much on my journey to veganism.  They have such simple but yummy recipes that are super easy to make.  I make a lot of them in the evenings and take to work for lunch as I prefer a bigger lunch and smaller dinner. This is the mashed potato veggie bowl that I slightly adapted to fit with what I had in the kitchen.  I hope you like it and let me know if you'd like more vegan recipes! Ingredients Instant mash Water Baby corn Olive oil Frozen bag of greens (I use Tesco brand) Spinach Add required amount of water to the mash and stir Add the veggies to a frying pan with a little olive oil and cook for 5 minutes Place the mash into a bowl and then add veggies on top It's really that easy! Enjoy. Lauren xx Instagram | Twitter | YouTube

The Statement Faux Fur Vest

One of the best ways to make a statement around Christmas time is with a bit of faux fur. My favourite way to wear faux fur is in the form of a gilet or vest.  I have a few different ones now of different shades and they just really add something extra to an outfit as well as keeping you warm.  Here are some of my favourite ways to style the faux fur vest. with a hat Millie Mackintosh via Pinterest all black Olivia Palermo via Pinterest over a dress   Lucy Mecklenburgh via Pinterest with shorts Millie Mackintosh via Pinterest Which is your favourite way to style a faux fur gilet? My Favourite Beaches

I know it's not really beach weather at the moment, well it's not in London anyway!  But I thought it might be nice to dream up a little warmer weather, sort of a "where I'd rather be" post ha.  Living in Europe I've been fortunate enough to travel to some of the nicest beaches around the world and here are some of my top favourites. Bondi Beach, Sydney Pula, Croatia Bora Bora, Ibiza Nassau, Bahamas South Beach, Miami Venice Beach, California Where are your favourite beaches?   It's so hard to choose just one!  I love Bondi for the atmosphere but you just can't beat that blue sea and white sand of the Caribbean.. My Favourite Ways To Wear A Kimono In Winter

Just because it's winter doesn't mean you can't wear your summer wardrobe.  You just need to know how to mix things up a bit.  To be honest, it's really not that cold in London at the minute for this time of year.  Although I hope I'm not speaking too soon and I'll wake up to 10 inches of snow tomorrow morning! I love kimonos for all year round and they are such a versatile piece.  From the beach, to dinner, to shopping, to a concert.  They pretty much work for all occasions and here are some of my favourite ways to style them during the colder months. Let's Just Remember How Far You've Come

This time of year is generally full of joy and happiness but I think it can also be a time where we reflect on life and the past 12 months which for some can be quite depressing or frustrating if you don't feel like you've achieved what you wanted to or haven't quite reached your goals you set for this year. With my birthday next week and the prospect of 2017 fast approaching I know I've definitely been looking back at everything that's happened this year, everything I've achieved and not achieved and how far I've come.  I had a pretty rough start to the year (see this post for more details) and I honestly thought the rest of the year would be awful but I've managed to turn it around. I think it's important at times like this to focus on the positive and look at what you have  achieved, no matter how small or meaningless you are still going in the right direction even if you are not there yet.  Having a more positive mindset and outl
