What I Bought in America

I'm sure this isn't going to be a particularly interesting post for people that live in the States but for us in the UK we get really excited about shopping in the US.   As you would have seen from my previous post ( here ) I visited Florida back in November which seems like ages ago now.  I was only there for 4 days before leaving to cruise around the Caribbean.  However, I obviously made time to shop whilst I was there.  We visited one of the outlet malls and also the Mall at Mille nia .   In the outlet mall I bought two gorgeous dresses from Armani Exchange one was a black sleeveless bodycon for work and the other was a silk patterned sleeveless dress which I actually ended up wearing on one of the elegant nights on the cruise.  The dresses were on sale and I think they worked out £40 each, bargain!   In the other mall I treated myself to a MacBook Pro as I have wanted one for the longest time and in the States they are so much cheaper (mine worked out £

Wear | Life | Eats

Wear   Friday we had a big company meeting at work followed by office drinks so this is always a hard one when deciding what to wear because you want to look smart for the meeting but still on trend when having drinks later.   I decided to go for this grey beautiful woollen dress from Hobbs that has a sort of funnel neckline, short sleeves and stops just above the knee.  I wore it with black tights and black wedged knee boots.  this looked both smart and trendy and I even got some compliments from the partners so I'd say it was a successful look. Similar (link) Saturday I went to the gym in the morning and then was running around town doing errands so I wanted to wear something comfortable but also warm.  I opted for black waxy leggings from H&M with a cute Minnie Mouse t-shirt with my orange faux leather jacket from Primark and Lacoste pumps.  I also wore this leopard print scarf and clear sunglasses from Primark. The Best of 2014

Happy New Year!! (Even though we're nearly at the end of January).  One of my New Year's resolutions is to write on my blog more but more of that in my next post.   Here is what I've been loving throughout 2014.  What were your faves?     1. Most worn clothing item - really boring but probably my black wooly glitter leggings from Missguided ( similar here ).  I literally live in these at the weekends and even wear them to yoga sometimes.   2. Most worn shoes - again a bit boring but I'd say my Flossies I bought in Ibiza about 2 years ago for 10 euros ( here ).  They are so comfortable and practical for running about and again good for wearing to and from pilates classes.   3. Favourite foundation - I went a bit foundation mad this year and I may have to do a blog post reviewing some of them but I'd say my favourite from last year would be the Maybelline FitMe ( here ).  I have mine in 220 which is a perfect shade.  This foundation makes me

Orlando and The Caribbean

Wow, it's been a long time!  I'm not going to bore you with excuses as to why I haven't been on here but in brief; I went away for 2 weeks, then there was my birthday, Christmas, New Year and then an exam last week.  So sorry!  I'm back now though and thought I would start with some of the photos from my amazing trip to Florida and The Caribbean.  Enjoy!
