Outfits of The Week!

Hey guys,

Now that it's Friday, the end of the working week for most of us and finally (well, nearly) the weekend I thought I would show you all the outfits I have been rocking this week including gym, work and going 'out-out'.

First up is gym clothes!  It's been rather hot this week so I've been wearing my little running shorts from Nike and I've paired it with this neon yellow t-shirt.  I love to wear neon tops at the gym.  I just think it looks really cool and they don't show sweat patches too badly!

Next is this cute black pinafore playsuit from New Look.  I actually got this in the teen section but I think they do a similar version in the adult section.  I've teamed it with this gorgeous lace top from Next which I love.  It's so versatile and I just know I will get lots of wear out of it.  I'm even considering getting it in black and they do short sleeve versions now too.  My head has been cut out of this photo as I'm wearing my super high YSL tribute shoes which makes me really tall, too tall in fact for this mirror (I'm already 5'7)!  My necklace is also New Look and my clutch is from Accessorize.  I was having dinner in Covent Garden this night at a restaurant called Tuttons.  The food was really nice in here, especially the warm chocolate brownie for dessert!

Here I am going out to Movida nightclub in London for my friend's birthday.  I'm wearing a metallic jacket by Missguided which I think is super trendy at the moment.  I'm really luvin Phoebe from Made in Chelsea's style and I think this is something she would wear!  My top is from Forever 21.  You can't really see it properly here but it's grey with sequins on the shoulders.  My leather pants are from French Connection.  I'm also a big fan of leather and I think metallic and leather just looks so hot together.  My grey suede shoes are from Office and they have a metallic heel and platform.  My clutch is from Mulberry.

Next is a simple LBD I wore for work.  Every girl should have a LBD in her wardrobe because they are so versatile.  This one is from Tesco and I'm wearing it with my Alexander McQueen scarf and blue suede pumps from H&M.  If I'm wearing black I always like to add a little colour elsewhere to jazz it up.

Here is another work outfit.  This time I'm wearing a grey t-shirt from New Look tucked into a patterned midi length skirt from Next.  I think this look is both smart and trendy which is how I like to look when going to the office.  I'm also wearing a long beaded necklace from Mango.

Next is another LBD I wore to work.  I did my last post on this outfit so check that out for more info!

Lastly is the outfit I am wearing today which is an 'office to bar' outfit as we headed to the OXO Tower after work for some much needed cocktails!  We are allowed to dress a little more casually on a Friday with the exception of jeans.  My dress is from ASOS as are my boots.  I'm obsessed with chunky ankle boots at the moment.  I don't know why bcos we're approaching summer!  My bag is the Alexa from Mulberry.

My Favourite Looks From Fashion Week

Last month was 'Fashion Month' with showcases and catwalks taking place each week in different locations across London, New York, Paris and Milan.  Although I have been attending London Fashion Week for several years now, this time around I was in California and unfortunately could not attend any shows. However, that did not stop me from catching up once I was back from my trip to check out all the latest trends.  I was also browsing the   Esprit website   and noticed they had some awesome pieces just like the trends seen on the runway last month. Here are some of my favourites that I think are going to be hot this season and where you can copy the looks for less! Floral prints at Gucci.  You can shop the look for less here . All black at Marc Jacobs.  Shop the look for less here . Bows at Chloe.  Shop the look for less here . Sparkles at Alexander McQueen.  Shop the look for less here . New Year, New You

As with every New Year, we make resolutions (you can see mine in my last post) but I think for most of us it's about becoming a newer and better person than we were last year.  I've come up with a few ways we can make little changes to become a newer and better you. New Hair I've said in many of my posts how much I like to change my hair and you can read about my hair dying experience here and my hair extensions experience here .  However, it needn't be a drastic change, just a little trim and some subtle highlights .  Whenever I change my hair I always feel like a new woman! New Wardrobe The New Year is probably the best time to invest in some new clothes because there are so many sales on.  You don't even have to spend a lot of money, I love affordable brands such as Esprit which do really on trend pieces at high street prices.  With a new wardrobe you will not only feel better but look better too! How to Wear a Pink Lip

Wearing a pink lip can sometimes be quite hard, especially if it's a rather bright and vibrant shade but I think it looks so lovely for this time of the year. My favourite shade of pink is Impassioned by MAC .  It's very bright and has such a creamy texture that it glides on really well and stays put for quite a few hours.  I find I never have to wear a lip liner with this one either. When wearing a pink lip I think it's important to get the rest of your make up right so that you don't look washed up and colours don't clash. So starting off with the skin I would get myself nice and tanned.  My favourite tanners at the moment are the Superdrug Solait tan in dark and also Tan Truth which you can get from Sally's Salon Services.  Where I have just come back from Ibiza I have still got a bit of a tan so every few days I use the St Tropez Everyday gradual tanner and this helps top up my tan slightly. Then you've got to get the make-up right so
